About This Coffee
The name Aleto Wondo is given by a cooperative situated at the Aleta Wondo Valley in the city of Sidamo, southern part of Ethiopia. They are known for producing coffee with bright acidity, floral and tea-like characteristics.
It is grown in the highland areas resulting in a dense and flavourful coffee. Coffee grown in a higher altitude tends to grow at a slower rate due to the lower oxygen and temperature. This allows the coffee to go through longer maturation which creates a richer and more complex flavour.
