About This Coffee

It's not often we get a Geisha varietal on our cupping table that's not from Colombia, Ethiopia and Panama, so this coffee stood out to us immediately with its rich sweetness and its nuanced flavours.

Grown by Stuardo Coto and his family deep in a region with seven natural springs, this coffee is an experimental lot that is a result of their efforts to cultivate something more exotic beyond their usual crops.

Finca El Platanillo spans 347 hectares of coffee trees and native forest. Having been Rainforest Alliance certified since 2005, they are committed to finding the perfect balance between preserving the natural surrounding ecosystems and the production of excellent quality coffee in Guatemala.
