About This Coffee
Historically, Honduras was not a major coffee producer due to climate issues and a lack of coffee processing infrastructure. However, the country's fertile volcanic soil holds potential to nurture coffees that have great velvety sweetness and lively fruity notes. Since 2001, Honduras has dramatically improved the quality and scale of its coffee production, with producers increasingly adopting the use of experimental fermentation processing techniques to push the boundaries of their coffees.
Today, many coffees from Honduras have become synonymous with exceptional quality, allowing those with more adventurous and discerning palates to enjoy a new world of flavours.
